As a history professor with a keen interest in Central Europe, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gorska Hacjenda in Brenna, Poland. The property, located just 48 km from the Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, offers comfortable accommodation with a charming balcony overlooking the beautiful mountain views.Upon arrival, the welcoming hosts greeted us warmly, making us feel instantly at home. We were delighted to find a cozy double room equipped with modern amenities such as free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and a well-stocked kitchen area with an electric kettle for our convenience.One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast, prepared with fresh ingredients including mushrooms picked by the owner himself. The peaceful garden surrounding the property provided a serene setting for relaxation, perfect after a day of exploring nearby historical sites.For those interested in outdoor activities, the Węgierski Ski Centre is just 6 km away, offering opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts. The Sports and Recreation Centre Oświęcim is within a reasonable distance of 49 km, allowing guests to engage in various leisure activities.Gorska Hacjenda exceeded our expectations with its warm hospitality, convenient location, and cozy accommodations.
